HTML Mail in Outlook Express

E-mail doesn't have to be plain text anymore--if you use Outlook Express, you can send colorful HTML e-mail. To generate an HTML message, click Create Mail. When the New Message window opens, choose Format|Rich Text (HTML). Outlook Express will open a new toolbar from which you can select text formats, colors, and fonts.

The only problem with sending HTML e-mail is that some e-mail clients only work with plain text. However, such clients are quickly becoming an endangered species, so most people can read HTML formatted e-mails.
